Folkestone’s Neighbourhood Foodie Spot.

Two people, a man and a woman, are celebrating outside a restaurant named Marleys. The woman is jumping in the air while holding a balloon shaped like the number 6. The restaurant's sign is illuminated with yellow lights. It is nighttime and there are some fallen leaves on the ground.

7 Years Of Marleys:

By Mark & Charly

Marleys is an independent bistro in the heart of Folkestone’s Creative Quarter, founded by Mark and Charly in December 2018.

We’re known for our bustling weekend brunches, and we also serve lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Saturday.

Marleys is built around one simple idea: food should feel like home, but taste unforgettable.

We work closely with local Kentish farmers and producers to keep everything fresh, seasonal, and full of flavour.

  • We take reservations online for dinner. Breakfast and lunch are walk-in only (no rule-bending on that one).

We do not take deposits but we do hold card details. We have a strict cancellation policy with a £10pp fee for amendments or cancellations within 24hr of your reservation time, or 48hr for large groups.

  • Our Terrace is open seasonally. It is lightly covered and heated but weather-dependent. It is the only area you can dine with pets. We cannot honour reservations outside if it rains, so we do not take bookings for the Terrace.

  • Our Lounge is open daily. A cosy spot for coffee, cake, and light bites by day - it transforms into a relaxed space for cocktails and nibbles in the evening. Dogs are welcome here during the daytime. We do not serve the main menu’s in the Lounge.

  • Marleys welcomes everyone with open arms. We are wheelchair accessible and have inclusive loo’s.

We’re in the town centre and by the harbour. We have a bus stop just outside, and we’re opposite Tram Road public car park.
